flat metal connecting straps RT2000P

I have misplaced my connecting straps-can I jumper these terminals with wire or do I need to buy new connecting straps-thanks!

    Most guys get rid of the metal straps and use wire any way.

    Good quality wire to be more specific. If you have an extra strand of speaker cable laying around, works just fine.
