Using Two Speakers For Center Channel?

I have No place to put a single in wall center that would look decent because of a load bearing beam. So I was wondering if I could run two speakers on either side of the beam in place of the single? I have a pair of RC85i's for the fronts and was thinking of using a pair of RC65i's for the center and other surround spots. If this is possible how do I wire it from my Onkyo NR808 and what are the potential problems?

    I'd use slim line surround bars. 3" tall...etc.

    One under would be nice. One above + one under might work also. $$ would be an issue though since you don't have these yet I assume.
    Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.
