SDA SRS 2.3 Karma...sort of...read on!

Ok folks, I passed this one by George Grand (of the Jersey Grands) and got his blessing to move forward.
Initially I put up for sale, a pair of SDA SRS 2.3's in the For Sale section. I'm going to pull that and see what kind of holiday magic the forum can perform. Here's the deal...
The person that takes these speakers will come by my house, pick them up and write a check for $250 payable to the Githens Center. I will then take this check and pass it on to George Grand for him to pass to the Githens Center. Not only do you get these speakers, not only do you get to write this off as a charitable donation on your taxes, but you also get a good piece of mind that you did good. I've had my share of personal struggles over the years and can say I've been fortunate for the opportunities that have come my way. It's been a long road, but i'm at a good place in my life and think this is a start to give a little back. So, here are the slightly modified details of the original post in the For Sale section.
For the Karma are my SDA SRS 2.3's, and that comes with the interconnect cable (of course), the wiring diagrams and a box of the extra Dynamat I used on the back of all the drivers. There's probably enough left to do another 3-4 pairs of these. Ask others in the forum about this if you're interested in the whole Dynamatting of drivers. About 4 years ago, the tweeters were changed out to the silk domes. About 2 years ago all the mids were replaced with new and dynamat installed as the drivers were put in.
HERE IS THE ISSUE...
The left channel developed a problem after I installed the new drivers. They worked perfect before, but the left is what I describe as weak sounding. I can only hypothesize that some wire either came apart or came loose during installation. Again, I can only guess since it worked before and didn't after. There's sound out of it, but there's a loss in bass extension and it just doesn't sound...right.
There you have it. Cosmetically, these are outstanding. No rips or tears in the original grill covers. there's a VERY tiny snag in one cover, but it's so small and insignificant that my camera can't pick it up against the rest of the black material. The solid oak caps are excellent! On the left channel passive radiator at the 1 o'clock position, there a small gouge in the hard part of the driver. It was there when I purchased them about 13 years ago and has never been an issue. Look for it in the photos on my site.
If you're willing to tinker with getting that left channel back to 100%, then have at it! Local pickup only. Sure, I can help you get them out of my house and into your vehicle. Remember, these are about 5' tall and 155lbs each.

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Ok everyone, the deed is done!
Tony came by earlier today and took the coffins away! Heck of a nice guy! We chatted up a bit, I gave him a demo of my current 2 channel rig and took him down into the Theater for a peek at that setup. I hope to get together with some local Polk Folk coming up. I've been away from it for too long! Who knows, I may even host a little get together.
The check for the Githens Center is in hand. I'll contact George Grand to get it in his hands! It's a bright sunny day in Polk Land!No excuses! -
This is a most awesome karma. Good things will undoubtedly come your way!

Yet another case in point as to why this site is so awesome.
John is a super person. Loved checking out his rigs. Really awesome house John !!!! It's always great meeting some local Polkies that we can share our hobby with.
Truely one of the greatists karmas I have ever heard of in my years on the forum.
Thanks again for everything John !!!!! Really fortunate to have been the recipient of those babies.
Since the winter is coming up we definatly need to have a local gathering.
GO RAVENS !!!!!!! -
I'm very happy to hear everything went well with the karma. Glad that the Githens Center is recieving some funds as a result. Again, that is an outstanding gesture John! Congrats to you Tony!
