I am looking for the plate on the back of an SRS speaker that can be bi-wired. It needs to be pin/blade. Let me know if you have one. Thanks.

Why do you need the whole plate?? If it's just the pin/blade socket you need you can just swap that out..

I might have one if not I'm sure someone else does!! I will look and see what I have..

I can't get the socket out of the plate. Do you know how to remove it. It looks like it is revited in the plate. I have another socket, if I can get it out.

Take a drill bit to the top of the head (start with an 1/8") drill lightly on the top of the rivit head, you will cut through the head and will pop off.

Take the hot glue off the back side and wiggle it till it comes free, then of course take your soldering iron and de-solder the wires.

Solder the replacement and install with new rivits or some small screws with nuts and hot glue it back up..

Important!!! You should not have to drill all the way through!!! Only enough to crack the head of the rivit..

    Larry.

If you would like me to fix it send me the parts and I will do so free of charge just pay the shipping..

It was perfect timing as I have been home taking care of the wife as she had Lasik PRK eye surgery and when I went to the mail box I was happy to have something to work on..
