Hi everyone
I have a small room for watching HT about 10 x 15 feet, 8 feet ceiling.
I am planning to buy a second sub to add to my existing Def Tec Prosub 800.
I was looking into 8 inch woofer and if possible to get as low as 25 Hz.
I think the DSW Pro 400 is perfect for what I read, haven?t herd it yet.
I would appreciate to hear the comments of any of you guys who have hear or own this sub
to have a better idea of its performance.
Another runner up is a either a Velodyne Impact 10, or an Impact mini, but I don?t think they get as low
as the Pro 400.
I also thing the HSU STF-2 would be a good choice.
Any advice or comments are welcome.

This is sound advice. Having the extra option of wireless is just an added bonus for an extra couple of bucks.
I have the 400 and my room is a little bit bigger than yours and i can say it does a good job at filling the space. Could it be better, sure but for the price you really can't beat it. She definitely digs deep for normal and hard hitting scenes for only an 8". The remote is a pain in the a$$ but who really uses a sub remote for HT. Set it and forget it.
I have since moved it to a 2.1 channel system were it again does a good job at filling in the bottom end but again, could be better.
All in all, i'd recommend it and i will be holding onto mine for a while.Where’s the KABOOM?!?! There’s supposed to be an Earth shattering KABOOM!!! -
I have one, and it does and outstanding job filling my room.Marantz AV-7705 PrePro, Classé 5 channel 200wpc Amp, Oppo 103 BluRay, Rotel RCD-1072 CDP, Sony XBR-49X800E TV, Polk S60 Main Speakers, Polk ES30 Center Channel, Polk S15 Surround Speakers SVS SB12-NSD x2
