hi i was just wondering i am making a couple of speakers for my room to get better sound/bass etc. i was wondering could i use a car audio subwoofer speaker, as a normal sub speaker because my friend has two 10's and i was going to buy them off of him..Please reply and tell me if it will work?

    sure u just better realize a few things.

    1- they're not magnetically shieded so dont put them near a TV set or they'll screw it up.

    2- take into account impedance (resistance - ohms) of the subs and make sure its kosher to run that impedance on your receiver/amp.

    3- make sure you have enough power -- at least 65% of the rms of the sub -- or dont bother.
