At minimum, all new capacitors of the same values as what's in there, but use tighter tolerance film caps. Everyone has their favorite brand; ANY film cap is going to be better than the ancient electolytics in there now. I used Dayton 1% on the HF board, Dayton 5% and Erse 3% on the LF board on my 1Bs. Others will recommend more expensive caps. The tiny silver mica caps can be removed once the electrolytic caps are gone. Might as well yank out the polyswitches, too. Some folks favor adding .2--.5 ohm resistors in place of the polyswitch...I just used a jumper wire.
Best to replace those 10% tolerance resistors, too. Have used Dayton "ceramic block" resistors; the Mills resistors are much more compact and fit the circuit board better. Worth the upgrade to Mills.
The large inductor is subject of about a dozen threads recently. A search will result in much advice. It seems the smaller inductors aren't due for much attention. Leaving them alone seems to be the general consensus. -
First of all thanks for the info.
A couple of things.
I will not being doing these myself. I have never used a soldering iron in my life and don't think that this is a good project to learn on.
I also was hoping that someone would have a list of specific parts that I would need for this project. (Caps and Resistors)
I wanted to post pics because I understand that most IC's have a single crossover and blade/pin. So I thought that possibly I would need different parts as a result.
All advise is appreciated.I got static in my head

Check out Gimpod's web site. I highly suggest using his boards to do this, Makes things much easier

Thanks that is very helpful on cost.
However, I read this previously about Gimpod's Boards.
These boards were designed to use bigger Caps & Resistors like Sonicap & Mills and work for the following SDA's with a single board crossover and a Pin/Blade IC cable.
Mine are not single crossover or Pin/Blade. So I am still wondering if the parts will be different from regular 1C's.
I appreciate your patience.I got static in my head

Hmm yes, I forgot you have the blade/blade version. I would google Xover mod club polk and see what you get. I have sda 2a's with that style xover and remember seeing a thread on that somewhere.
good luck!
