Id like to build a PC with all the spare parts Ive got but need an athlonXP mobo.(AGP)
I have an athlonXP-2800.And a radeonX850xt along with case,pc2700 memory,power supply,sound card and drives
Just need the mobo to make it happen.I could use it for a business pc.

Im looking for something that can take the Athlon XP-2800(barton)333FSB...Full ATX would be great.4 mem slots if possible but I think thay maxed out with 3slots although I really cant remember.I have 2 sticks of 512mb PC2700 DDR.And 2 128mb DDR
VIA or N-Force chipsets with SATA would be cool if you got em.
An Asus A7V600 VIA KT600 would be perfect.But Ill take what I can get.
A whole box eh.Did you use to sell Mobos?
How much would you like to get for one?

I have an ABIT NF7-S somewhere that has been a rock-solid overclocker. I'll see if I can find it.

I'll check out what boards I have when I get home... Some of them are good to go; others need recapping. I used to deal in a lot of used equipment back in the AthlonXP days, and when the demand for them ran out, I got stuck with a bunch. Can't sell em anymore, and can barely give them away... but I'm too nostalgic to just chuck 'em.

I've got a Shuttle AN35N Ultra up in the attic. In fact, it has an unlocked 2800 Barton installed on it right now. However, I can't guarantee how functional it is. I'm pretty sure the LAN port doesn't work and not sure beyond that. I had given that PC to my parents a while back. They returned it to me when they upgraded. I'm pretty sure it still boots and runs fine though.

If I remember correctly those Nforce 2 boards required installing the sata drivers durring the XP install which in turn required a floppy drive which I no longer have.Although that NF7-S was a kick **** board Im not sure I have any IDE drives except an old IBM 3gig drive.I also just remembered that the old DVD drive I have started having problems reading discs back then so if any one has an old dvd drive, I could use one of those too.
Ill wait to see what nadams has since he is right here in PA.People are still buying them on ebay nadams>Take a look.

You are correct about the SATA drivers on the Nforce 2 boards. That NFS-7 v2.0 is to this day the best mobo I've ever owned. I ran a mobile 2600 at a 25% overclock (quietly air cooled) for years with no issues. I just retired it about a year ago.

If I can dig up the mobo and you want it, I can include a 10 or 20 gig IDE for the install, then you can just image it over to a SATA drive.

(2) KT600-A's (w/ SATA)
(1) Winfast K7NCR18D PRO (my old primary board for YEARS, no SATA)
(1) GA-7VAX (bare-bones... no RAID, no SATA, but a very large full ATX formfactor)
(1) AM37 - No SATA, 2 DIMM slots

I've got a DFI LAN party mobo you can have. Believe it's nforce 2, but I've gotten it up & going w/o a floppy- it has both IDE and SATA. Hit me w/ a PM if you want it. AGP and nice inboard sound.
