I received mine today. Email me what I owe you as I don't keep track of any of that stuff.

They're very nice, like the material and in combination with Larry's rings, are much nicer installed. I never liked Mortite anyways and used an alternative that worked as well but it was also stickier which caused another problem. After Larry's rings, I removed all that garbage and put in my old gaskets with zero issues. The normal gaskets work fine as long as your drivers are cinched down nicely and they have some spring left in them. Problem is that most of the vintage gaskets are practically paper by the time you start looking at them, and less foam anymore. Coupled with the fact you may strip your hole out, it can be tricky to find what is the happy medium. That being said, I've NEVER stripped a hole out on any Polk I've owned and it's been dozens. YMMV.
These are working great and I'm glad I have some spares to say the least.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

PR's are the in the plans.Various MW's? Is there more than one size? I thought the 6 1/2 was it.
Also got a price with the tweeter gaskets for binding cup gaskets but we'll need to buy over 100 just to get them down to 2 bucks each so it may not be cost effective.

    Cool.
In order to keep the duck tape around my head to just one layer everything stays separate.
I'll do a thread for each different gasket.

The MW gaskets were made from 1/16 thick closed cell neoprene.I can get these tweeter gaskets in 1/16 or 1/8.I got a sample of the 1/8 thick and like it.If you look at the existing tweeter gaskets i believe they are a little thicker than the MW gaskets.
Can i get thoughts on a preference if there is one.
    Thanks

I'm thinking the 1/8. The 1/16 MW gaskets were a little thin. I had to pop a driver out after only a day of the new gaskets and they were already compressed to nothing and broke apart in to pieces when removing the driver.

Interested in "a bunch", but I'd like to hear the modders and builders chime in on the thickness.

No expert here, but to my mind this pretty much says the 1/16ths are already plenty thick enough. Idea is to seal off the void not cram it full. Seems 1/8ths would only do more of the same plus add to the likelihood of hole stripping.

I understand your concern. I am using Larry's rings, however so it is not an issue for me. I will still be happy with 1/16.

I understand it would be easier for you but when i'm trying to send dozens of packages out w/o screwin somebody up i really prefer to keep things separate.if your stuff gets lost in the flood you would be pissed i'm sure so i'm doing this the best way i know how.everything is a separate deal as shipments of gaskets come in.I do this just to hook up some polkies.not a business venture believe me so i hope that's cool.
i hope to order these Monday so keep the tally running fellas.thanks

Of course that was for MW's I presume, so maybe 1/8th is appropriate for tweets???

Anywho, I'm down for 24... PM me addy info for the prepay...

...and interested in MW's batch #2, if and when, down the road.

Looks like 80 to go for the price break...

I have an original gasket and they are about 1/8" thick keep in mind that the duamiter gasket material being used is very user friendly and will press down to a 1/6 or smaller anyway. If anything you will just get a better seal..

You will not strip out any screws using this type of material, only you can strip them out "not the material being used"..

I think the 1/8" thickness is best for the tweets, and yes I am following you Larry.:cheesygrin:
