NAD 218 or 2400 for LSI9's?

I currently have a NAD 218 matched with some rti10's and really like the bass but can't tolerate the highs. Would the 218 match well (250 wpc continous into 8) or would i be better off with the 2400 or 2600 amp for the lsi9's? Maybe i should go lsi15 with one of these two? Any opinions out there? Help?
