I just bought a front projector and have a quick question. I dont want to pay $1300 for a projector screen. Does anyone have any input or a site reference as to "how to build your own". I just think there must be a way to build a decent one for half the price. Not to mentoin I'm just bored and love to build. Thanks in advance for any help!...

    Matt,

I have a friend that built one for his place and it cost him all of about $60 in materials. I rememebr him showing me briefly the back of it......He used some aluminum framing beams all the way around, spaced about 12-16" between, and then covered it with black felt and a white sheet or something like that. Will that be as good as a HT designed screen? nah......but will you save yourself over $1200? yup yup....

This is by far ine of the best sites I frequent. There is an awful lot of knowledge here, and if no-one knows themselves they know someone who does. Thanks all.
