Smaller Polk Speakers

I guess this would be mainly for the Southern AZ Polkies. I really don't know much about all the different Polk speakers in the smaller 2-way and 3-way models, just what I've read here on the forums. Since I sold my Martin Logans I decided I can't live without something that sounds great in a smaller package. I'm not too concerned about killer low bass since I'm moving to a small apt at the end of this month (October).
Price range in the $200 to $300 range, the equipment driving them will be Yamaha CX-600U preamp/Yamaha MX-800U amp or SAE P102 preamp/SAE A202 amp or Sanyo A35 Plus Series intergrated amp. Most likely the Yammie combo as the main rig, so power will not be an issue The only speakers I have left after my CL sales are Celestion DL-6 Series II's and the little AR 4x's, so they would have to sound better than those two.
So any of you S. Arizona guys have a pair of Polks or another brand that you're not using and can part with from your stash? I'd like to be able to do a 2 week demo first to see if I really like them first, say give you a $150 deposit to demo for 2 weeks and pay the balance after, or give them back if they don't give me goosebumps.
Does that sound possible? I figured you guys would have nice stuff and I'm sure I'd fall in love with them. Let me know, thanks, Craig
