Series ii Front and Center paired with RM8 sat speakers - OK?

Hello - I have Series 2 Monitor speakers in the front (CS2 Center, floor standing 60 and Sub). I replaced a set of Sony speakers - however I left my Sony bookshelf speakers (4 of them) as my surround (7.1).

I was looking at the RM8 Sat. Speakers to replace the Sony bookshelf.

Will this work? I understand the pairing of speakers - so in theory I should get the Series 2 40 Bookshelf speakers - but they aren't very wall friendly, the RM8's are.

    You could go with the RM8's or maybe some monitor 30's. The only speakers that really should be timbre matched is your frontstage(L,C,R) which yours are. It is nice to have all them match but not necessarily needed for surrounds/rears.
