Just got out of the shop after a full our restoration! Early 1970's ( 72 I think) akai GX-210D R2R. TRADED FOR IT A VINTAGE ROTEL RECIEVER. REPLACED EVERY CAP, gone thru completely and biased. Not ultra highend but sure sounds nice,records very nice. Having fun .

    Very nice looking unit, I've got an old Sony and I'm yet to power it up. When I was a kid, if you had a one of these you were the coolest stereo guy around.

    Definitely true, Cayuga. A friend of mine had one and he was the 'man', or at least the 'dude'!
