From my backdoor.
Keep in mind, I live for hunting, but do no hunt around my house (yet ).
I love seeing such beautiful animals in my yard.
These deer have been eating at my house for some time ($$$).
Seen a many nice bucks taking the trash out.

Its funny, you get to know these animals.
I have not seen the one on the left since Oct 4th.
You know real quick when one comes up missing.
I saved every deer here I believe last winter, when it was -5 degrees, 4 inches of snow/ice.
I spent about $25/week for corn.
Small price to pay to see these animals take off when you pull in your driveway!

I have a deer path right through my yard, between the neighbors house and mine. 6 to 8 at a time will pass through a few times every day. trampling the grass, eating the hostas, or any other plant that strikes their fancy. Too bad you have to be 450 foot from any building here to shoot at them, or I might take up hunting just to save my yard.

    Nice.
I just love walking out to light the grill and seeing 2 or 3 take off through the yard.
    Priceless!

I can almost pet the deer in my yard thats how close they let me come. Maybe because I have a deer bowl out back and all the stale corn chips go in it or other delights they like. No sense tossing it in the garbage. Watermellon....they go crazy over it, cookies, blueberrys, the list goes on. Whatever they don't eat, the coyotes, racoons, foxes, squirrels take care of. Never had a problem either with all the varmits around. I like having the wildlife in the yard.

Lay em' down! I miss seeing my SE IA deer, those are the real deal. I hate the little buggers, they keep me fairly busy at work. Natures dumbest animal.

First time I went to Colorado via Kansas, I was asleep in the passenger side of the van.
When I woke up, my wife said she had been seeing cows laying on the side of the Interstate.
A little while latter I saw my first "Cow" go bye.
I knew then we did not have deer in Arkansas.
    Kansas has deer (COW SIZED:eek:).

Here are some Kansas Monsters I have harvested and seen harvested. I am the guy in the Carolina sweatshirt. I shot mine opening day and had the luxury of sleeping in and shooting pheasants the rest of the week while everone else froze in the crazy **** western kansas wind. I actually shot a muley that year.

The deer we see every year are just stupid large. I enjoy watching them more nowadays when we are bird hunting.

Its funny, they are up here but I have never seen one in my life out in the wild.
I bring a good friend of mine up here for the first time (he lives about 50 miles from my house).
He kills a 275 pounder first day!
    Said he saw 8-10 hogs.
I have never seen one, but the problem they cause in this country, I would like to!

Those are some Frakensteinhogs right there!

We have alot of bears here in Arkansas.
    Liberal bear season statewide.
