Went into work this morning and my boss decides to close for the day so we all can go and play paintball (4 of us). Get there about 10:30am and pay for everything. For the gun rental with upgrades and helment it was $50.00 a person and then you still had to pay either $60.00 or $70.00 for a case of balls. OMG was this fun. Nothing like schooling the youngsters that think the "run and gun" really works. At one point the ref came over and asked us to sit out. I thought we had done something wrong. Actually nothing we did but the other team could not even get out of their base. One guy left after the game cause he got owned. This guy looked like an adult version of Buckwheat and I wanted to give him some pretty colors in this hair. Just got home a few minutes ago after playing all day. Not to bad for a 40 year old,2 50 year olds and a 34 year old. Strategy is what won the day game after game. The other team just kept running and gunning and camping. All I can say is that I will be going back soon.
Everything matters. That is all.

Yep, have played for several years. Up until a few years ago that is. Still have all my gear, 2 semi autos, 1 pump, 1 pistol, nitro tanks etc. SO much fun! I was playing almost every weekend for about 2 years solid. Played on a team for a little while to. We played mostly woods ball. Much more of a challenge to me.

I miss it, but I haven't been able to find a local field since I moved to NC. I played solid for 2/3 years, NPPL and PSP events. Played for a small team in SE IA, got to travel quite a bit with them. I've played on both coasts, and about everywhere in between! No woods ball here, bleh, the only thing that would satisfy this guy was speed ball, nothing like sliding into a bunker on your knees while blasting someone else in another bunker! GET HIM OUT!!!

Speed ball is great. But after playing that for years it got old. You spray enough paint you are gonna hit something. Woods ball is more challenging to me. I equate it to deer hunting. Only the deer have guns to shoot back with.

Yesterday was awesome. This morning though, a whole different story. I got shot in the nipple yesterday and as of last night it was just a blood mark the size of a painball. As of this morning, combined with the shots I took in the same area it looks like I flew through a windshield and smacked a tree. Worth every shot though. Just so much fun.

i definitely enjoyed it when I played. Dont have anyone to go out with anymore though. Definitely liked woods ball the best. Speed ball is just too expensive.
