Connecting laptop to receiver

I'm trying to connect my thinkpad w500 to the SC 57 receiver via display port to watch a game on espn3. I am using the Dacmagic to play the audio via the receiver's CD input. Is there a way to assign an analog input to the front HDMI 3?
