Up for sale is a pair of Mullard 10M Series 12AT7's one the print is pretty well worn off the other is in pretty good shape, these both sound awesome, these are untested but guranteed to be good tubes if either one test below good your money will be happily refunded. These are most likely the best sounding longest lasting 12AT7 type that Mullard ever made and to my ears bested the Telefunken 801S type which is considered to be the best of that brand.

These were hand selected at the Mullard factory to ensure matched sides and had a 10,000 hour gurantee though I read where these have lasted up to 30,000 hours or even longer some claim 50,000 hours which if true is an incredibly long time.

I am not certain how to price these due to the lack of consistent completed sales but I think $100.00 shipped in the US is a fair price if anyone feels differently feel free to call me names or throw things at me.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Tubes arrived in excellent condition. Since the feedback system is still on extended vaccation I will say it here:

Excellent transaction and the tubes are exactly as described. Thank you Snow for the typical outstanding Polk Forum transaction.

Glad to hear they arrived safely and you like them Rick, and Thank You for the instant payment. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on these someday when you get time. For me at least these were the best out of all the different Mullard types no harshness that I had heard with other Mullards just beautiful warm detailed sound.

I will give you an update. I am presently breaking in some of the Psvane 12AT7s in my Lector CDP (which is the future home of these). I have Teles, Psvane, and now the Mullards (had tried other Mullards that were nice but did not were a little off in this application) I gave those Mullards to another Polkie at Polkfest for his pre so hopefully they will get a good use. I have been looking for the 10Ms for a while and look forward to giving them a trial in the near future. Thanks again.

If you store tubes outside at your home does that qualify as being cryoed?

Looking forward to your review. As far cyroed goes I doubt that leaving them outside would qualify, not sure what the minimum temp is thats required for cyro treatment but im pretty sure its much colder than here, the coldest I have seen it here is only -83 farenheight with no wind chill if you count wind chill then I have seen it -75 with 75-80 mph winds which might just make it to cyro temps, cold enough that if you were to throw a cup of coffee into the air it would freeze and crackle before it hit the ground as ice.
