This "Silver" moFi release (160 g) sound pretty good. I love this LP, probably from my college days in the early '70's:cool:

One of my favorites as well. I always liked the little intro to Maggie May that was rarely played on the radio.

    Carl,

I don't own the vinyl anymore, but I have the cd and it still gets semi-regular rotation. I remember my Dad playing this a lot when I was growing up. Rod Stewart, Jim Croce, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Diamond, Elton John, Loggins and Messina, etc. were staples in our house when I was growing up. Always music playing and I like all those artists still today.

Speaking of the Faces, tell me honestly you don't get the urge to crank it up when the intro to Stay with Me comes on.

Long way from their roots... the Steve Marriot led The Small Faces and "Itchycoo Park"... There were but Four Small Faces is a good listen.

Back on topic... Stewart and the Faces would have to be very low on my list of groups benefitting from cleaner reissues. Had that kind of undisplined, rough edge to their play that was a part of their sound.

Kinda like JJ with Big Brother and the Holding Co., Steppenwolf, JC and The Grease Band...

    Sounds like a new thread...
    More later,
