Pilot 1090-A console

Every home should have one , this was my gramps, bought new in 1959, passed down to me, beautiful unrestored condition, a few nicks on the cabs, the drop down door for the pre/tuner has the veneer pulling away on the drop hinge. My roomies cat had a go at the weave speaker grill covering, but it's not bad, still has a nice polish on the mahogany wood. It has the following:
The very coveted SA-232 el84 amp
690-A Pre/dual am fm tuner (mint faceplate and knobs)
Very nice (I'd say mint) Jensen Special Design 15" woofers
I'm not sure about the tweeters, I can't see them...piezio's?
Garrard 88/4b changer (with all the HTF accessories)
A later Pilot gold cage multiplex was added by gramps
It sounds glorious, though it really needs a going over. Some folks over restore the amps and ruin the sound, only certain things need to be replaced. I'm putting it up on CL for $400 today. Am I making a huge mistake? I need the cash badly and if I gut it, I could make three times that for the parts eventually (it's a tough market out there). The guy who bought the Marantz receiver is very interested and will probably talk me down from the $400. I really, really hate this.
Anyone interested in the parts? Let me know, thanks, Craig

Is that last picture supposed to be the piezo? looks like a coil to me. I believe Jensen made the tweeters for Pilot as well.
It is worth more separate but it would be a shame to do that. -
A lot more. Nice unit, keep it!Check your lips at the door woman. Shake your hips like battleships. Yeah, all the white girls trip when I sing at Sunday service.

Thanks guys, it's breaking my heart, but the new owner is on his way over to pick her up, at least he wants to refurb it and hopefully will allow me to visit every once in awhile. Shame it's sooooo nice, you don't see these everyday, the price was good for me, he's bringing beer too
