Keith what is the red stuff on the driver in the 3rd picture?

I'm new to the forum and found it looking for one of the items you have up for sale.
I'm definitely interested in the MW 6502 and would like to know what you're charging or will charge for shipping to Illinois? Or does the price include shipping?
And though I'm sure it does and though I saw and read that all parts ae in good shape. But I still have to and must ask. That said, does the MW 6502 work?
PM also sent containing same. -
Well, I wanted to send a PM containing the same info but I don't yet have 10 posts. So, I'll post this to make it my 3rd and try and get to 10 ASAP. lol

Hey Geppy, I tried to reply to the message you sent but unless I have the 10 posts I guess not only can't I send my own private message but I can't even reply to one I received.
-
So, until I get the 10, I'll have to do it this way though with some of it I'd like to do it privately. Like giving you my address and getting yours. So, I'm going to break up my replies/posts and or just say whatever in this thread to get the 10 posts so I can reply.
-
Until I can get to the 10 replies, and before I have you bring it in from wherever it is, let me ask about somethings I've read.
-
The 1st, I read in another thread where you should replace them both because if you don't they'll sound different. Is this true?
Remember, I'm just breaking my posts up to get to 10. -
This will make ten and I should be able to reply to your private message.
The 2nd question I have is I've also read that the magnets should be glued, or JB Welded so they don't or can't come apart or fall off. Are you aware of this and if so and it's needed, could and would you do it? -
Hey Geppy, I got to the 10 but it still wouldn't let me send the message because your inbox is full/you've reached your storage limit. Please make room so I can send this reply.
I am interested and I do need one. -
Inbox is now open. Keith

PM sent.

Geppy1,
I am new to this forum; I hope I don't have to do the same as Morpheus..
I just purchased a used set of 5A's, and despite what the seller said, the woofer was blown. Actually, it appears the magnet has shifted, VC locked, and it burned out (open circuit, but I never gave it any power). Anyway, it is an MW6500 and now I need one. Is yours glued to prevent this, and what is the red I see in the picture for the woofer I presume to be a 6500?
Please PM me, since I cannot PM you...
