Very cool items Made from 1977 to 1981 for JC Penny for their MCS line by NEC. MCS 3865 integrated amp and 3710 tuner The amp is identical to the NEC AUA 8000. The tuner is the same as the NEC gear but do not recall the model. Built like a tank. Dual mono design with very nice layout and high quality parts. Has a warm sound. It is 65 watts per channel with 2 phono , 2 tape, aux, tuner, preamp in and out. Works perfectly and is in great shape a 8 out 10. There is a slight amount of discoloration on the vents as seen from behind. The only flaw is the power meter do not work but they come up on Ebay. Has been set for use with a detachable power cord and the A speakers will accept banana plugs , spades, or wire.
The tuner was the top of the line 3710 with fixed and variable outputs and rec calibaration. The meters are stuck on this also but it works great and sounds very good. They hold thier value well. priced below book . Asking $120 Thanks,Keith
