Has anyone seen a Demo of one of these two TV's? Or that owns one? I have a 73 inch rear projection Mitsu and I really enjoy it. I am not upgrading for 3D just better picture. My 73 is only two years old so I really do not need to upgrade ,I just thought I would hear from this knowledgeable community?

I can't answer your question, but I am curious of what you think about the DLP they use. Do you have any issues with rainbows, or other artifacts? I wouldn't mind replacing my old 57" RPTV with a 73" model. My room is to small for a projector.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable

No problems in two years at all. Mitsubishi was King of the CRT's when they made them. I had the 32,35, and the monster 40 inch which weighed seems like close to three bills! This is my third Mitsubishi rear projection in ten years. All performed flawlessly.MIT Magnum MH-750, Monster HTS 5100MKII, Sony 77" Class - A80CJ Series - 4K UHD OLED,PS4, Def Tech 15” sub,LSIM 706c, Sunfire Signature Grand 425 x 4,Parasound hca 120, LSiM 702 x 4, Oppo 103D, SDA SRS 1.2, Pioneer Elite SC63 , Pioneer Elite BDP-05 “Why did you get married if you wanted big speakers?”

I love the picture on my 73'' Mitsubishi, it's my 2nd one. I'm curious to hear anything about the laservues, i've had my eye on the 82'' lately.

I cannot comment on the DLPs you named, but Mitsu does well with their DLP technology overall. I have a Mits HC4000 DLP PJ and 80 inch screen, and couldn't be happier. I would put it up against any of the larger flat panel screens out there.
I bought the PJ for just over 1K and screen for around 300. -
"Danger, Will Robinson! Danger!"
Fry's has had the laservue set on the floor for - oh - about 2 years? And not once have I seen it on.
Not a good sign.Do you hear that buzzing noise?
