looking at sda srs

they're about an hour and change south of me. so i need the guru's to pipe in;) they have the pin/blade...the xover plate has 8 screws on the outside edge... i had the seller pull inner and outer drivers..the inner mw is a 6505 with the marking: srs 1.2....the outer has 6511 sda 1c...they are dated sept and oct 1988...can these be tl'd...i offered 800 he came back with a grand...what do you guys think?

    If they are in good shape then I'd go for it at that price.

    They are at minimum 1.2's (and can be TL'd with the appropriate mods) because they have a pin/blade IC socket. They're 1.2TL's if they have the SL3000 tweeters.
