Unfortunately, the time has come to part with this beauty. More than a few Polkies have heard this amp at my house. It sounds wonderful. 250 wpc @ 8 ohms, 400 wpc @ 4 ohms. John Curl design, balanced outputs, gain control, bridgeable, many features. This amp is a brute. More info Here

It's time to move on. I am the second owner, it five years old. I originally purchased it from Polk member Emlyn (Mark) I have all the original packing and boxes, manual, etc. Excellent condition except for age. We are all non smokers here. This amp originally came with a ten year warranty. It should give you many years of listening delight.

Local pickup in Monroeville, PA would be nice. I will ship this 70+ lb amp, but it will cost $50 - $75 depending where you live. I will sell this to well established Polkies. I am looking for $1,050 plus shipping. I will list this on Audiogon if it does not sell here in about a week. These sell pretty quickly over there for more money.

If you have any questions, please PM me. Thanks for looking!

I'm very interested in purchasing this amp... Not sure if you are cool giving me the day tomorrow to make sure I can round up the funds?

I would need it shipped to 99203. Do you know the box dimensions so I can try and find a half-way reliable shipping quote?

I would give it a good home and have been dreaming of having one of these for a couple years =)

    Greetings guys!

I received the first PM from Mark last night. Yes he is buying it back. It should tell you something about this amp. Sold in about an hour. Sorry, I don't have more to sell.

There is a used one on eBay for $2,000. I saw one on Audiogon sell over the weekend in three days for a lot more money.

Great amp, great price. I have one in my living room and I do believe I paid at least $200 more for mine last year. Enjoy having your amp back again Mark.

    Why did you sell yours?

Anyone know how the a21 will compare to the Adcom 5802?

    Thanks

Too many different amps in one setup - I was mixing a NC2250, NC2125, and the A21. I decided to get one multichannel amp and be done with it. The NAD M25 I have now is no slouch though - so I'm content.

But A21 was my dream amp for months lol. When I'm a rich man with better speakers, I'll go back :)

I don't think that the two amps are comparable except in power. I owned both. I still own the A21, this was an EXCELLENT price.

I actually purchased an older amp. A Classe DR-25. What's ironic is that Mark sold me the A21 after HE bought a Classe model 25 (similiar or exact, depending on who you believe), I bought a Classe DR-25 and sold my A21 to him. Mark still has his Classe Model 25. He is using the A21 in another system. The Classe DR-25 has a blacker background, maybe a little smoother or refined sound. Very close to the A21. Maybe I just wanted a change:cool:
