Making Changes

I'm looking to make a few adjustments in our living room rig and a new sub will be the first order of business. Having just moved, I am working with much larger space than I previously had and the Sunfire Super Junior is just not providing the w0w factor like it did in our older/much much smaller living room.

The layout of the room is 18' wide x 28' long. The ceiling is vaulted to 12' at the center of the room and the walls on each end are 8' tall. FWIW, I am truly splitting the room for theater use and using the back half as a dining area.

The subs I am looking at...

-HSU VTF-15h
-Epik Empire
-Emotiva Ultra Sub12 (I am considering running 2 of these)
-Kinda looking at the new SVS PB12NSD (had a PB10 and I think I would rather run two Emotivas for a similar price)

My goals...
-speedy and accurate bass (any of the three choices will be doing just as much two channel duty as HT)
-If I feel the urge, I want the couch and walls to move a little.
-stay under 1k in purchase.

Input? Anyone own any of three I am looking at? Have any regrets? Better thoughts on a different brand?

Thanks in advance!
HK AVR354, ADA PTM6150, Polk RTi10's/CSi3/RTi4's, Carver Sunfire Super Junior, LG 60PZ650, PS3.

I'd throw my hat in on the Emo's, if thats your only dual option. I've heard great things about them, should be fairly tight for music, and duals will rock the HT. No brainer IMO. Happy shopping!

I would run Dual DSW Pro 660WI's if your considering dual emotiva's. They could be had from new egg on sale for cheaper than the dual emotiva's.

    Amplifier: Carver A-753x 250 watts x 3
Fronts: Polk RTI A7 (modded by Trey VR3)
Center: CSI A4 (modded by Trey VR3)
    Rear: FXI A4
    Sub: Polk DSW Pro 660wi

    Speaker Cable: AudioQuest Type 8
    IC: AudioQuest Black Mamba II
