Hi guys and gals, approx 240 Lps up for grabs, just about every composer, most of the great conductor's and players. Brendel, Ozawa, Ormandy, Mehta, Haitink, Bernstein, Karajan, Baranboim and Rubinstein.
Some box sets, most only played a few times, some not at all, a few from the personal collection of the pianist of the Altanta Symph Orch in the 70's that need a good cleaning (musicians )
From Philips, Deutsch Grammophon, Telefunken, RCA Red Seal, Columbia 6-eye and Masterworks, Mercury Living Presence (maybe 4 or 5 of those), I Tesori Della Musica Classica and many, many others.
Here's the AZ Polkie special, all for $100, or pick 120 out of the 240 for $50 and pick 3 from the 'special pile', a few shown on the towel in the pics below, which are:
Josef Hofmann ~ 'Golden Jubilee concert, Nov 28th 1937, with the booklet on Columbia masterworks 6-eye
Glen Gould ~ 'The Goldberg Variations' ~ Bach, Columbia masterworks 6-eye, has the original 2nd backpage cardboard inner sleave.
Bernstein, Gould ~ 'Beethoven' 'Bach', Columbia masterworks 6-eye
Van Cliburn ~ 'Rachmaninoff No.3', May 19th 1958, Carnegie Hall, Kiril Kondrashin conducting, RCS Red Seal
Antal Dorati ~ 'Wellington's Victory', Mercury Living Presence (Great care should be used playing this Lp, 180 6lb cannon shots, muskets and 12lb howitzers are recorded live , I'm not responsible if you damage your speakers )
Bernstein, Gould ~ 'Beethoven No.4 in G Major' NY Phil, Columbia masterworks 6-eye
Thanks for looking, PM me for my phone # and addy in the Grant & CC area Tucson, if no interest (I understand if there isn't). They go on CL for the same price/deal on Friday morning. I have 8,000Lps, half of them stored here, so moving to the new place won't be fun ! Help me out, and buy these please!! Craig
