Ok Keiko going to go out on a limb, because I personally like anything non-mainstream, and a bit crazy sounding, or very dark like Katatonia. But I am personally loving The Devin Townsend Project. Its a four CD quadrilogy (Is that a word?) But each CD is so completely different from the next. The first CD is Ki and it goes from soft to heavy throughout the CD. But has some excellent interludes. Lots of Jazz influences here.

Addicted is the second CD, and Devins main purpose was to create a heavy metal Dance CD.....yes Dance CD. And surprisingly it works, it is so flippin outrageous, but yet you cannot help but notice your foot tapping after after a few minutes of listening to it.

Deconstruction is CD 3, and NOT for the faint of heart. It is a concept album of a man who is obsessed with finding the true nature of reality. In the process of this journey, he goes to Hell and meets the devil. The devil shows him the secrets of the universe, presenting a cheeseburger to him. However, being a vegetarian, the man cannot eat the cheeseburger, rendering his attempts at working out the true nature of reality pointless. SO YEAH this CD is pure craziness and really takes a lot of listens to get used to it. I enjoy it, but would find it hard to recommend to anyone.

The Final CD is Ghost. A true Sunday Morning coffee drinking listening, while reading the paper. Very soothing and relaxing. Love it from top to bottom. Very ambient.
