Since January we have been lucky to get a 10 minute shower maybe once a month...but we have had some really nice thunderstorms off and on all day

Drop in the bucket...but very welcomed...diggin' the smell:biggrin:

    Keep getting it and send it north. Talk to my inlaws who live at almeda and said it was coming down pretty good.

    I'm in central Texas and glad to see this rain, can't remember the last time it rained at my house before this. Earlier this year sometime. I am hearing that this drought will last 9 more years

    I saw that on the Weather Channel this morning, I'm very happy you you guys over there! 'Bout damn time!! Over 5 inches in the Austin area, very nice.

    Interesting. What science is behind that estimate? It would be pretty cool if we can predict the weather that far into the future.

    Austin was actually included in the rain today ... very nice ... hope to get more in next couple of days , as we need every drop

    Checked weather underground.... looks like they recorded 4.44 in for Saturday and Sunday in my neck of the woods. I think that is the largest rain storm of the year. Hope we get a couple more like that.

    It rained on us while we were trying to ride the 3 sisters in Leakey :(

    But we needed it. Figures it would rain the most this year on my one 4 hour (one way) trip to the hill country.
