Added center channel amp

I had a carver tfm55 hooked up to my center in bridged mode to see if I could tell a difference as a test sure enough the center was no longer over powered by the mains even when level matched.

This was a one day test over a year ago and since sold the carver and would have been over kill anyway.

Tired of my center being over powered by my mains which are powered by my tube amp and the center powered powered by my avr.

I bought an outlaw mono 2200 amp refub for $200 which is cheaper than used.

I found the music sensor would not turn off the amp when a signal was no longer present. So I used the internal 12 v trigger with my avr and outlaw mono amp and works just fine.

I had no place to put it except under my hd DVr which runs 120 degrees which concerned me putting the DVr on top of this amp. So far the highest temp I have seen on the DVr is 124 degrees playing 8 hours.

My center is no longer over powered by my mains and has a much more detailed and full sound. My avr is now only powering my rears.

Well worth $200 bucks.

I've considered getting one of these Outlaw Audio mono amps to run my center channel(the only channel still being powered by my AVR), and have suggested to others wanting to do the same as you did.
