It's gonna be cols in Salt Lake...but I'm thrilled to get to see these guys perform again! I think this is my seventh time seeing them play - and it just seems to get better each year. If they're coming out to your area (or even semi-close) they are more than worth the price of admission!

I'm happy for you. I just watched Pulse on my new surround system last night, and I got goose bumps. Enjoy!

The concert was great even with the chill in the air! I managed to get a few decent shots during - though it will take a bit of time to get everything posted as they're a big large-ish. But for any interested, here's a taste from our seats. :)

We are 5th row center for the show in Clearwater on 11-9. I have the DVD and some friends have seen them before and say they are fantastic. Really looking foward to this.

Fifth row is awesome. Might almost be a bit too close for this show...but if you're in the center all should be well. Gonna work on getting the rest of my bids up soon!

...And well worth the $40 or so ticket price! Sorry to keep adding to the thread here - I don't seem to find any way to add/edit earlier posts. Anyway, here's a clip from the opening of Sorrow:

    Sorrow - Intro Solo

I gotta say, Steve Mac there was pretty spot on - although the guitarist of the evening definitely goes to Dave Fowler - he absolutely nailed Gilmour's tone and feel more than a few times during the evening. It was super cool to have Lorelei McBroom singing with the band this tour as well (One of Floyd's DSOT and PULSE singers herself!) I also *almost* had a chance to chat with Colin Norfield who's doing sound for the Aussies now. He was Floyd's front of house engineer on the PULSE tour and also worked with Gilmour in '06 as he toured 'On An Island'. Some pretty cool people associating with this cover band now. If you haven't seen them yet, get a ticket and GO!

5TH row center was magic. It seemed like the audio sweet spot. The 2nd set with the 3D glasses was a little cornball but I played the game for 2 songs then took the glasses off. My wife, who is 13 years younger than me, was in heaven. She was so excited and does have a few great vids which I will try to get off her Mac. She insists that she was born 10 years to late as she missed a lot of the stadium band general admission shows I grew up and went to. Kiss, Kansas, Van Halen, Boston, etc. Great show. If they are in your area, go.

I've seen them 5 times. Once was front row. Others were in the middle on the floor and once off to the side. Can't go wrong in any seat.

This band is amazing. If you closed your eyes you may think it is the real deal. They use the real Pink Floyd stage equipment and props. I love when they inflate the pigs and especially their kangaroo. Great stuff.
