These speakers are as perfect as you can ask for older speaks.woofs refoamed just before i bought them about 6 months ago.

The emit tweets, polydome mids, and injection moulded woofs are all that i had hoped, only selling to raise money for new maggies, we love these guys, but recently heard some maggies, and game over.

The only flaw? no infinity badges.

sold as is, but they are beautiful speaks and perform flawlessly.

Also see my ad for spotless kappa5s

we travel to atlanta frequently if that helps.

price drop to 150 dollar because i have to pay for some new speaks, not maggies, just could not afford a big enough pair and a sub to do right by them.

These are almost perfect speaks, with beautiful sound at a great price, can make a package deal if bought with matching smaller infinitys i have for sale here.

You are correct entersshadow, would keep them if i had not found the time windows 3s here.

By the way, notice the crystal clear polydome mids, most you see have become milky white, these have never been in direct sunlight or extreme heat.

    Scott,
I'm mulling these over as well. Looks like I'm 180 miles and 3 hrs from Cleveland. After I get other appointments scheduled I'll confirm a date w/ you to come down. Think of a package price if we combo on these and or give me your impressions on sound of the Kappa 5's and these. I need to get final repair tally on the Carver amp from the guy in Asheville and see where that puts me $ wise. Looks like I might be making a all day round trip from JC to Knoxville down to Cleveland and then thru the Mtns to Asheville and back to JC. A fun 8 hours at least. I'll make a few calls today to finalize a few things and call you later this afternoon or tonight.
    Thanks,
    Travis

Great deal on a pair of speakers that were $1200 new. I have a set kind of similar, the RS7B that I may never part with. Love that classic vintage Infinity 3-way sound.

They work well on 12"-18" stands or stands similar to the Monitor 10's with the slight uptilt.

Guys these are still available. Went down to Scott's yesterday and picked up the set of Boston's he had for sale and demoed these as well. As much as I'd liked to have brought both home I had to put new brakes on the car before the trip and budget wise had to pass. Scott's a great guy and I enjoyed spending time with him and Debbie. The smile on his face after listening to the Time Window 3's I delivered to him was worth the drive.

Unfortunately, keith allen had to cancel his purchase of these due to some unexpected bills.

So, these beautiful speaks are still available.

Hi! I'm in Athens and just need a reason to take a scoot up the hills ;-)

what would you need for the set? any other spare components for sale? I'm building a system from scratch and am caught between getting a decent-but-sweet-looking 5.1 setup or a better (but will have to be used for the price) 2.1 setup. Perhaps you could point me to a good used amp or receiver for these speakers? Def interested; Total n00b g33kin out over here...

Great speakers! I'm helping a friend put together an all EMIT tweeter based home theater with 4.5RS as the fronts and it's going to sound great. Good luck with the sale!
