AMC is remaking/remade this Danish 2007 TV series for the US market and I watched the first episode of the Danish (actually watched all 20) compared with the AMC and the comparison is as you would suspect - the Danish version is far, far better.

Getting ready to start watching Season 2 tonight.

IMO probably one of the best TV series ever. If you have not seen this, or Luther seasons 1 & 2, you are missing some excellent TV.

    The best ever TV show for me was police squad .I might give this show a try in my spare time

    Just finished watching Season 2, 10 episodes.

    If you have seen Stieg Larsson's Millennium Trilogy - The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl Who Played with Fire, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest then you know how good a movie can be. Forbrydelsen - The Killing is as good or better. Strong female lead, no car chases, nothing blows up, no romance, just a great crime thriller.

    Season 3 is now in production and I cannot wait to see it.
