core wire 12awg and are extremely neutral. Lots of positive reviews, absolute sounds best product 5 yrs in a row...

http://www.positive-feedback.com/Issue18/anticables.htm

You can buy it instead at a polkie price of 30$+shipping (shd be around 5$ usps priority mail coast to coast).

I'll take paypal (gift option) or check (it would have to clear before I send it out).

I have feedback as a buyer over here, as well as on e*bay with the same screen name. 5ft stereo set directly from Paul Speltz website runs at 50$ + 8$ shipping. So this is at 60% the price and I would say 8/10 condition (some scratches on the spades just normal wear).

Will be packed in an MIT cables box so it should be fairly damage proof.
Cables are quite stiff so you can easily keep this off the floor without needing those speaker cable lifts that folks selll as tweaks...

Thanks for looking.

Hope they sound better than they look - those things look like they belong under the hood of someone's car. (Not saying yours, just the cable style in general)

LOL.. yes they do sound better than they look. If you've had solid core speaker wire before you'd realize they're quite hard to bend and the best tweak is to actually create a twisted pair. I did but uncoiled it partially for packing purposes, hence the look. Also, the whole point of these cables is that they're not the traditional cable stuck inside a plastic sheath since the idea is that air is the best dielectric.

Here's a snippet from the anticable site:
"The Anti-Cable wire is made of one solid piece of highly annealed, super long drawn, Continuously Cast Oxygen Free Copper. They might look skinny, but that is because the insulation (dielectric material) is a very thin red coating instead of the typical thick plastic insulation. They are actually a heavy 12 gauge wire, even thought they look much smaller.

We believe the Anti-Cables are sonically transparent and neutral because they virtually eliminate the most common source that give speaker cable their sonic signature, the plastic dielectric material. Beyond the extremely thin red coating, there is nothing left but air, and air is a near ideal insulation dielectric because it causes virtually no dielectric effect! Air is also why break-in time is not so nasty sounding with the Anti-Cables. This is because "break-in" is actually the bad sounding plastic dielectric material, which simply sounds less bad with time. Since the Anti-Cables have much less dielectric material, the break-in period is easier to get through. If you have ever experienced a typical speaker cable breaking-in, you understand how much the dielectric material affects the sound. Again, it gets better with time, but the dielectric effect will never fully go away (unless you mostly remove it, like the Anti-Cables)."

I would have kept these and still might since I like how clean and accurate the sound is compared to a few different cables. I only put these up as I found a nice deal on some MIT exp1 b-stock...

At 35$ shipped, you dont lose much to try these out...

someone should try these, while I dont use mine anymore i really liked them and still have them in my cable closet. he is not kidding when he says neutral. I'll be honest, the solid core is annoying a hell to deal with in set up but for this price you are getting some damn good cables.

Thanks. I might just keep these as I do have some warm speakers and the neutrality that you get from these keeps the "warmth" just right without loating it further.
I'll keep it here for a few more weeks and then it's back to the closet.

    Thanks Dex.
