I just ordered a pair of Rti A3's to use as left and right and a csi A4 for center for my home theater. I am upgrading from an Energy Take Classic 5.1 system. My question is, will the energy L/R surrounds suffice until I am able to get bigger surrounds to match the RTi A3's? And, what rear surrounds would you guys recommend to compliment the A'3's?

Fxi A4's or 6's would be what I would shoot for. The are great surround speakers. The shape and sound coming out of both sides make them harder to pinpoint the speaker. They are worth the added cost over running another set of a1's or 3's.

Just move your current speakers to the back and balance everything out. RTI's sound great. The rears I use are cheap and are not voiced matched to my RTI's but untill I get the funds, I'll use what I have.

When I get the surrounds in my system they will most likely be monitor 30's. They are inexpensive and will be fine for surrounds.

I would (and did) make the A3's the rears and buy A5's for the fronts. Add a good sub and your done! Good luck with your decision.

That would be my choice if I was going to run regular book shelf surrounds. Get A5's for the front and move your current speakers to the rear.
