Cheap preamp

Looking for a cheap pre amp, and by cheap I mean it, 150 bucks would be like tops. I'm putting together a small system for my gfs place as I can't stand what she is playing music on currently. I'm not going to be super picky but just have to work and not be totally beat to crap. Let me know what ya got.

You want tone wit dat? Carver C-2s can be had very inexpensively on A'Gon or ebay. ($50-$90)

That's a great price for a solid preamp. The remote alone often sell for close to $80.

Decent pre-amp there. Another would be the Hafler DH-110...a pre you can usually find at a good price that also performs above that price-point!
