Did my own. Simple, with instructions and advice from this forum.

Do one at a time, when the first is finished, install it and listen. If it sounds OK, use it as the guide for doing the second one.

That way you're sure to solder the leads into the correct holes.

Which speakers, what do you need done?

My 7c's have never had anything done to them. They have the Peerless and am wondering if they would sound better with an upgrade.

Give it a shot. I have the SDA 2's, RTA 15's, RTA 8tl's, Monitor 5B's, and the Monitor 4A's. I have modded all of them except the 4's. I was very nervous when I started, but with help from this site and taking my time, it worked out very well. Its allot of fun also. Don't be afraid to give it a try.

I had my 7s done by a member on CP. I also sealed the drivers with Mortite. There was an improvement in all ranges but mostly the upper mid and high range. I have another pair of 7s that I will probably do myself when I get around to it. The crossovers are easily removed and if you can solder it should be easy for you to do.

The person that did the work on my crossovers does outstanding!! work on everything he does. PM me and I'll give you his name.
