Best way to connect Lsi25

I was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages are for the 3 different connection methods on the Lsi25s. My understanding is that the subwoofer in each speaker has its own amplifier and that biamping does nothing for these speakers. So is there any advantage to unbinding the posts and connecting the subwoofers directly to the line out of an amplifier or to an unfiltered LFE?
