Hi guys. I don't know anything about electronics but I did find this site. I was hoping to get some advice on selling some items I have inherited : Adcom 5802 preamp, Adcom GTP 600 tuner preamp, Outlaw 950 preamp and a Sunfire Bob Carver sub woofer. I have all the boxes except for the Sunfire. Again I have no idea how to even work these but have a sense they were more like a Porsche than a Toyota in their day. I can post pictures tomorrow. Any ideas???????

Welcome to Club Polk. Sites such as Audiogon and eBay are good places to sell audio gear. You can search past sales on eBay for an idea of what your items might sell for.
We require a 100 post minimum here before someone is allowed to sell anything.

Welcome to Club Polk, like F1nut said, do searches on those sites to check pricing. Unfortunately you have 3 preamps and you don't mention any amplifiers, you need an amp to test the preamps with, you'll get higher dollars if you can honestly say they have been tested and work. You need a source component as well, like a CD player to test the high level inputs which are the Tape, Tuner, CD, Aux and Video ones. Good Luck to you, and hang around here and read up on the threads, lots of great info and helpful folks, ask questionsThorens TD125MKII, SME3009,Shure V15/ Teac V-8000S, Denon DN-790R cass, Teac 3340 RtR decks, Onix CD2...Sumo Electra Plus pre>SAE A1001 amp>Martin Logan Summit's

The Adcom 5802 (GFA-5802) is a 2-channel power amp, and a mighty fine one at that.2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's
Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses

It helps to look on e-bay and check for completed auctions to get an idea what they have been selling for. You might want to take them to a friends house or a dealer willing to help you just to see if they still function properly.Receiver-Yamaha RXV-3800, Amps- Pass Labs X250, Pass Labs X3, Projector-Epson 8500UB, Screen-Elite 103", Remote-TSU 9600, Towers-Focal Electra 1038be2, Center chan- Polk CSI 5, Side surr-Polk Rm6751, Rear surr-Polk FXi3, Sub-Paradigm PW2200 Ver2, DVR-Hauppauge HDPVR + Dish VP622, Console-Xbox 360 Elite, Xbox Kinect, HTPC-4 GB RAM - 2.6 GHz - 2 TB HDD. -
