I want to add a second sub to my rm705 system, but it seems that the sub that came with it only came in that package. I wanted to match the sub as closley as possible. Is there an exact match for it? Also, what would be some of the other ones that would match well with it for mostly tv/movies? I would like to spend around $100, but I am willing to spend a bit more to match it if I have to.
From what I can tell the rm705 is 100w 8" sub, the enclosure is roughly 12.5" cubed.
It will add to a 7.1 setup with the rm705 system, the front speakers are monitor 60's and the reciever is an onkyo tx-sr506 (yeah I know its not high end stuff, but its what I have to work with)
I found the pswi225 that seems like a match, except for it looks to be wireless only and since the reciever does not have a second set of sub outs so I wouldnt be able to adjust for a delay if there was one. I also read a few reviews where people were having problems with the wireless cutting out, not sure if this is a problem for most or not?
Would also be open to suggestions of a matched pair that would be larger and better quality.... I don't usually turn up the volume very loud, so I am not looking for massive bass, just clean full range.
Thanks for the help!!
