I just purchased this album from her web-site. I guess this is the only source at this time. Anyway, it has the possibility of being an interesting album. A nice benefit is the CD purchase includes a digital download in basically every format, so I downloaded the Apple Lossless version. I will put it on my iPod tomorrow night, and give it a listen. Sure beats waiting a week for mail to arrive.

This review is what prompted me to buy the CD, since I had never heard of her before.
"This Train is retro unlike anything heard from Amy Winehouse, Duffy or Adele. This is "Twin Peaks" set in the Cotton Club - or Elvis' Graceland bedroom. (Natalie Wood's let-me-entertain-you moments in "Gypsy" come to mind, too.)

Well, I put this CD on my iPod today, and am playing it now. Wow! For me, it is a keeper. If you like women singers doing slow, sultry, sexy songs then buy this CD. You can tell David Lynch has an influence on this because images of Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive would pop into my head while listening, and it has been years since I saw those movies. In fact, at one point I jumped up, and went to Amazon to buy Mulholland Drive, but it has not yet been released on Bluray. Damn!
Anyway, for the lurkers out there looking for a music tip I would say give this CD a chance. If you like slow, jazz type songs by women singers then this is a great CD. This CD is audio Pie. Not blond bimbo Pie, but intelligent, dark haired, sultry, audio Pie. Two snaps up!!Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
