I wonder if anyone here have tried this....

http://murphyblaster.com/content.php?f=RTi28.html

With the current prices of the RTi28, I am considering selling my small Energy's and picking up a pair of RTi28. I used to own the RT25i.

    No problem....:)

I found the article after coming across this system at audioasylum.com.

I used to own the RT25i before trading them for a pair of the Energy C-1. After about a year of owning the Energy, I found myself longing for the warmer sound of the RTi-series. Oh, the Energy's are great, and along with the RT25i/RTi28's, ranks as one of the best inexpensive small speakers out there. Well, still deciding if I will come back to the RTi28. If I can find them at Circuit City for $200.00/pair (with an eye toward the upgrade when the new RT series bows).

Yeah, I wish I know how to do that kind of stuff too....

    Im glad I read that...

    Black Wire = Positive
    White Wire = Negative

Do you reckon that is the same for the old RTxxxi series?

If so...GREAT! because I need to know that! lol!

By the way...THAT IS REALLY COOL! I wish I too, could do that. To bad I can't! I think it would be interesting to mess with the RTi70 crossover, but I'm not that stupid...lol....

I think that would be the end of your 5 year warranty.

Hmmmm...the more I read the article, the more I think Polk Audio should consider offering "mod" versions of its speakers on this website. Companies like Marantz offer "mod" versions of its electronics (at least in Europe).

What do your guys and gals think?

Nice thought but they will never do it.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
