A pal of mine was wondering what is a good forum recommended contact cleaner ? Also, is there a preferred method for cleaning a sealed selector switch on an Adcom 565 Pre-Amp ? Thanks in advance.

DeOxit Fader Lube or DeOxit cleaner.
I just look for any opening in the pot or try and spray it down in the shaft and let it penetrate, then move the switch/pot around several times. If you end up soaking it (very easy to do) let it dry before applying any power.
