Daisy chaining 2 DSW-600's.....

So this is probably a stupid question but I'm out of town, not in front of my gear :frown:, and wondering how easy is it to daisy chain my sub with another? Does it take away anything from the first sub?

Reason: I'm getting different levels throughout the room and haven't be able to correct for all seats. Room is 21' long and 15' deep (viewing distance is around 13'. All numbers are approximations.

Would I just plug in an RCA jack from the sub "out" (assuming there is at least one...maybe even two) to the 2nd sub's "in". If memory serves I think i'm using the LFE "input" (been a while since I looked back there).

Thanks

You might also try playing with the phase settings. I have found for my DSW PRO 660 Wi and running my RTI A7's at full range, running the sub with a 90 deg phase setting produced the most bass. You could be dealing with one speaker canceling out the other.

+1 on the "Y" splitter! Doing that on my system now and it works great. Can still tweak each sub for best sound.

i think at this point I'm going to use the y-splitter right off of the receiver to run 2 seperate cables and just plug into the LFE's of each sub. any thoughts on the y-splitter splitting from the receiver? I've read this might be the best given i only have one sub out.

but on another note, the dsw's seem to be ready to be daisied unlike other subs of past years......any thoughts??

Im not sure if it would make a difference to daisy chain them or just use a y splitter. Maybe someone else that has done this will chime in.

    Heya,

So if we setup two subs off of a Y splitter from pre-sub-out on a receiver, should we be setting the subs on different phases? Or can both be on the same phase?

    Very best,
