Kenwood VR-7070

What would your thoughts be on a Kenwood VR-7070? It does have full Pre-amp outs, so I'm wondering how well it would serve with a nice multi-channel amp at a later time when I could better afford one. Also looking for suggestions on used multi-channel amps as well a 200 watt per channel amp.
