My New toy, a Destiny 2 Integrated Amp

Just got it 3 days ago.
I returned the Onkyo 709 back to crutchfield after having it for 6 weeks, full refund.
The Onkyo actually sounded pretty nice, but I think the lack of an official 4 ohm rated ouput caused the amp to be overdriven after a period of time(like 4 hours of use). The onkyo would shut down, happened twice the past 6 weeks.
So I ponied up for my dream integrated amp, a new Creek Destiny 2 Integrated.
I am bi-wiring the speakers.
180 watts per channel @4ohm impedance
Thus far, after 3 hour periods of use, it's only a little warm to the touch vs the Onkyo being moderately warm at 3 hours.
Definitely seems like there's Plenty of reserve power to drive the speakers!
First impression of the sound:
seems a little "smoother", I haven't really noticed any occasional slight digital harshness
voices seem to have more nuances
Very good soundstage, width and depth
Love listening to Jazz, female vocals, and live orchestra recordings, nice imaging.
I wonder how the sound will change after a 100 hour break in period.

Crutchfield has always been great for purchase/return policies, hard to beat.
So if you can put up some pics of your new toy...what type of speaks and gear are you using with it?
RT1 -
Yeah, Crutchfield was good about the return, I had up to 2 months to decide.
My gear:
Creek Destiny 2 Integrated Amp
Polk LSi15's
2 sets of Audioquest type4 speaker cables
very old/inexpensive Samsung cd player
Yeah I'm playing on upgrading the cd player to something??(maybe an Oppo BDP-95? I have no idea yet.)
Hey realtrouble1,
how do you like your Oppo player? -
I'll post a pic this week, have to go find my old camera to take a less than 2megapixel pic to upoad.
