Okay so I have a pile of Polk gear to go into my car, and I mean a pile lol. However for my subwoofers I chose my tried and true RE SE sub-woofers. The thing is RE doesn't make a grill for them and they will be facing the back of my trunk uncovered. What I would like to know before I order them is how to they actually attach to the subwoofer so I can figure out if they will work at all and also since the mm's have a 1 inch xmax the SE's shouldn't hit the grill considering thier 18 mm xmax, however I'm not sure if polk is listing their 1 way excursion or the full front to back excursion.

Not sure on the excursion part but the MM grill attaches with 4 screw through the grill, through the driver, then into the enclosure. The othe 4 screws go directly through driver into the enclosure.
So you would use 4 screws to secure the driver to the enclosure then the remaining 4 to secure the grill to the driver and enclosure.

    Make sense?
