What are your LSi9s sitting on?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a set of LSi9s to replace my TSi400s in my 2-channel system. They will definitely be placed on a set of stands.

What stands/stand height are you using? I'm thinking 24" stands would look the best and be the most stable with a 30+ pound speaker, but I do have heavy furniture in the room near the speakers so maybe 30" would be preferable to raise the sound stage above it all.

Any and all suggestions appreciated!

You want the tweeters at ear level ideally.

However, I found that I like them a few inches below ear level...

I would get the speakers in and experiment with different heights to find your spot and then order stands.

Here are a few ideas in my thread, I landed on the Pangea's, and I'm happy. I have them filled with sand, they are very stable. As Max said, play with the height to see what YOU like. Good luck, you'll love the 9's.
