I'm sorry for the way my post looks, I'm having a little trouble with the new system.

    The Empire's particularly cool.
Wouldn't mind snagging one of those, or a Fairchild or even a Rek-O-Kut someday...
(and, of course an 800B or C...)

Man, I would love that Marantz AVR and the dynaco tubes as well.

    Nice Score!

Looking good! Some really nice stuff there. Those Klipsch and Dynacos look mint as does almost everything else? Love the 'tubes'. I've heard of Empire TT (but never really seen one)--I defer to the Vintage Masters on that.

You've really come across some first rate pieces. Are they mostly 'local' finds?

The Empire tts were quite respectable. The arm is heavy; good match for low compliance cartridge like a DL-103. They were in production for decades, and there were numerous models (more and less expensive). The last models had touch controls not unlike the Philips GA-212/312... talk about cognitive dissonance.

The Empire came with a Grado wooden cartridge, the only marking are RP and EO 3. Over all I think this was a great find, I almost don't want to say this, it's just the start. I'm in line to look at a couple more very nice collections, I may have to post some of this gear, I'm getting overrun.

Very nice find. Luck is nice but I know you must be working hard to get the word out that you are a serious buyer and it helps that the sellers can tell you appreciate and will find good homes for their old treasures. Keep it up.

It's funny I've been working the hunt pretty hard, but I was just telling a friend it doesn't feel like work. I love the hunt and I'm getting better building a network.
