who has modded a fosgate audionics 4200 with new capacitors. i want to bring this oldie to modern capacitors.
receiver- pioneer elite sc-37 thx ultra w/kimber kable.pk14.
mains-lsi15 4ohm 250w modified&db840 nordost blueheaven spk/rca
center : snell xa1900 4ohm 250w,nordost flatline
subs-klipsch-ksw10/athena asp-4100
rear-OWM3 - 8ohm 100w
surrounds-klipsch rs-7 150w
amp-5ch.-aragon 3005 thx ultra 2 nordost blue heaven ls pc

    correct me if i amwrong i see 2 100 uf ,3 10uf and 4 2.2 uf that i can change.with auricap,clarity cap etc.

    it has 4 channels , that schematic is for ch 1 , but i open it , all the same setup on each board, damn this thing is a beaut in side.

    Also check to see if there are any others in the power supply. Looking at the schematic it seems well engineered.

    3x10uf, 4x100uf, is what I see.

    And 5 specialty 4x 12000uf/63, 1x 100uf/63 but those are probably electrolytic.

    I just purchased a Citation 5.1 -- can't wait to give it a listen. You did know the Citation 7.1 is the same as your Fosgate 4200 :wink: The 5.1 has a little less power.

    I have 2 HK citation 7.1 and 5.1. I opened them just to see inside and to my surprise, both have the same power supply inside. Plus, inside 2 7.1, the newer version has bigger caps. They sound great with my 1c, rti, LSI, and lsim
